90% of problems with the app are due to a firewall on the computer. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR FIREWALL IS OFF!

Please go through the list of troubleshooting steps below

• Verify Helper software is open on your computer and you are signed in.
• The computer and iPad must be on the same wireless network
• Firewall must be turned off on the computer (Click here for Win7 instructions for turing off firewall) (Click here for Windows XP instructions for turing off firewall)
• Make sure you have created an event in Event Manager ("Login" is in the top right). The date of your event must be today or in the future.
• Right click on the Photo Party Upload Helper icon in your system tray, go to "Events," and click "Refresh." If the event is not displayed after this, exit the Helper and restart the program.
• If the app is exhibiting strange behavior you may have to kill the app. (click here for a video showing how to "kill" an app)
• Please make sure that you have the most current version of the Photo Party Helper application on your computer. The current version is always listed on the top of the Event Manager page.

If there is a firewall on the network, this will prevent the iPad and PC from being able to "talk" to each other. If you have a Windows7 computer, you can run Connectify (click here to download) - This will allow you to connect your PC to the network with the Firewall then broadcast your own hotspot from your computer which you will connect the Ipad to.

Mobile Hotspot - If you are using a Verizon MiFi or Verizon 4G LTE device and cannot establish a connection between the computer and iPad, you may have to go into the admin settings for the verizon device (type 192.168.1.1 into URL field of web browser when connected to Verizon device) - Make sure that the Wireless mode is set to n/b/g
